Acne

Acne, also known as acne vulgaris, is a long-term skin disease that occurs when hair follicles are clogged with dead skin cells and oil from the skin. It is characterized by blackheads or whiteheads, pimples, greasy skin, and possible scarring. It primarily affects areas of the skin with a relatively high number of oil glands, including the face, upper part of the chest, and back.

Rosacea

Rosacea is a long-term skin condition characterized by facial redness, small and superficial dilated blood vessels on facial skin, papules, pustules, and swelling.  Rosacea typically begins as redness on the central face across the cheeks, nose, or forehead but can also less commonly affect the neck, chest, ears, and scalp.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a long-lasting autoimmune disease which is characterized by patches of abnormal skin. These skin patches are typically red, itchy, and scaly. They may vary in severity from small and localized to complete body coverage.

Hair Loss

Hair loss, also known as alopecia or baldness, refers to a loss of hair from part of the head or body. Typically at least the head is involved. The severity of hair loss can vary from a small area to the entire body. Typically inflammation or scarring is not present. Hair loss in some people causes psychological distress.

Atopic Dermatitis

Atopic dermatitis (AD), also known as atopic eczema, is a type of inflammation of the skin (dermatitis). It results in itchy, red, swollen, and cracked skin. Clear fluid may come from the affected areas, which often thicken over time. The condition typically starts in childhood with changing severity over the years. In children under one year of age much of the body may be affected. As children get older, the back of the knees and front of the elbows are the most common areas affected. In adults the hands and feet are the most commonly affected areas.

Laser Treatments

Laser skin treatments are non-invasive cosmetic procedures that help with improving the definition of fine facial lines and wrinkles, skin blotchiness and discolorations of the skin, liver spots, scars, freckles, moles, sun damage, and more!  Laser skin treatments such as laser skin resurfacing work by removing problematic areas on the skin. This helps to promote the growth of new and healthy skin while reducing the visual impact of the skin imperfection(s). BellmoreDerm’s laser skin treatments will help you to achieve healthier and better looking skin with our laser skin treatments.
